The Department of Physics started in the year of 2022. The department offers graduate programs enriched in core learning’s, challenges and opportunities. The department has grown large to support talent and to cater to the societal requirements. Our Prime Objective is to prepare our students to meet increasing global challenges so as to make the students acceptable to both industries and higher institution of learning. Our mission is to train students to develop inquisitive mind for the true understanding of real life problems and to build optimal solutions for the benefit of society.

The mission statement of the deptt. in enshrined in its vision. The Deptt. envisages to educate and motivate the students towards research in Physics. It especially addresses to the needs of the underprivileged groups / sections of the society. The faculty is fully dedicated and aspires to collaborate with industries and entrepreneurs to ensure high employability for its students. The deptt. strives towards excellence with its obvious concentration in research and act as a research center for the new colleges in the neighborhood.
